This site does not run its own analytics and does not set its own cookies. We do not build visitor profiles, and nothing you read here is stored on our servers.
Our host, Cloudflare, records aggregate page views for us through Cloudflare Web Analytics. Cloudflare states that the service "does not use any client-side state, such as cookies or localStorage, to collect usage metrics" and does not fingerprint visitors by IP address or user agent. It reports page-level totals, not individual visitors. The script is injected automatically because this site is served through Cloudflare.
This site takes part in affiliate programs. Some links to retailers carry an affiliate identifier. If you click one and buy something, the retailer pays us a small commission. You pay the same price either way, and no retailer pays for a review, a rating, or a place in an article.
An affiliate link does not set a cookie on our pages. Tracking begins on the retailer's site after you click through, and from that point the retailer's own privacy and cookie policies apply, not ours.
Display advertising is not running on this site at the moment. If we add it, the network will be named here with a link to its own policy, and its scripts will set their own cookies — which means your browsing of this site may then involve cookies that are not set by us.
Other partner programs may be added over time. When one is added, we list it here along with its own policy so you know who is collecting what.
If advertising is added later and you want to opt out of personalised ads, the Google Ads Settings page at adssettings.google.com covers Google's ad network.
If you email us through the contact page, we keep that message long enough to reply and to fix whatever you pointed out. We do not use it for anything else. To have it deleted, email us back and say so — we remove it the next time we check the inbox.
